Teaching vs Research Comparison

The most important difference between the Research and Teaching Suites is the terms of use: the SIMULIA Academic Research Suite may be used for academic research or for teaching purposes, but the Teaching Suite may not be used for research. Although both versions support the diverse functionality available in the commercial version of the code, there are differences to consider, which are listed below.

The SIMULIA Research Suite has the same functionality as our commercial code, and is a powerful tool for conducting state of the art research. Students in Masters and Doctoral level programs are able to analyze and solve realistic engineering problems.
