ATENA is a user friendly software for nonlinear analysis of reinforced concrete structures.ATENA user Richard Malm says in his Ph.D. thesis:One advantage using ATENA for the finite element analyses is that it calculates all material properties based on the cube strength with equations from Model Code 2010.

AutoCAD PLANT 3D is part of AUTO CAD (IST) (2D+3D) - Industry Speicifc Toolsets. AutoCAD (IST) comes with specialized toolsets that enhance its functionality for particular industries. These toolsets provide features, symbols, and workflows tailored to the unique needs of architects, engineers, and other professionals. For example, the Architecture toolset includes features for creating floor plans, sections, and elevations. 

AutoCAD Plant 3D is a toolset within AutoCAD designed for plant design and engineering. It offers features for creating intelligent P&IDs, 3D models of piping, equipment, and structures, and generating orthographic and isometric drawings. It integrates with AutoCAD and provides tools for automating tasks, managing projects, and collaborating within a common data environment

This study explores six tasks commonly performed by process plant designers. It shows direct comparisons of the methodology employed to perform the tasks, with designers either using the AutoCAD Plant 3D toolset or basic AutoCAD. The gain in productivity depends on the nature of the task: some can be completed just a small percentage faster and some can show an increase in productivity of over 65% (creating and editing piping isometrics, for example) when using the Plant 3D toolset rather than basic AutoCAD. P&ID creation and editing tasks showed a productivity gain of about 10-25% while drafting, and over 66% when producing reports such as line lists.

Create new P&IDs faster - ■ Generate line lists over 50% quicker and were less prone to errors.■ Create 3D plant models in the time it takes to produce a single piping orthographic drawing in basic AutoCAD.■ Modify the model and generate new piping orthographic drawings much quicker. Between 10% and 50% faster, depending on the extent of thechanges. If the drawing had multiple projections, productivity gains would be greater.■ Create all the documentation (piping orthographic drawings, piping isometrics, MTOs and reports) from a single source (the plant model), meaning allthe documents are more consistent and errors are considerably reduced.■ Create and manage piping specifications. Once defined, the designers use these piping specs to select the components that will be placed in the model. The components are dimensionally correct and contain all the information used in reporting, ensuring greater consistency acrossthe documentation

SAFE is a software tailored for the engineering of elevated floor and foundation slab systems. Slab modeling, analysis, and design procedures feature a suite of sophisticated tools and applications, couple with post-tensioning, punching-shear, and beam detailing, and integrate the influence of soils, ramps, columns, braces, walls (rectilinear or curvilinear), and other interfacial elements. Interoperability with SAP2000 and ETABS allows users to import models, loading, and displacement fields into SAFE for more advanced local assessment of slab systems within larger structures.
Post-tensioning : PT.png : SAFE is ideal for designing traditional and post-tensioned (PT) reinforced-concrete slab systems. The PT process is intuitive and comprehensive. Support conditions and loading : Punching-shear and drop-panel checks are automatic. If necessary, SAFE designs tie and shear-stud punching reinforcement. Moment-release and rigid-zone options define kinematic relations where vertical and slab systems interconnect. Point-displacement load assignment is available for support conditions. Point, line, area, tension-only, and compression-only spring supports may also be modeled. Point loading with load-size assignment may be superimposed on punching shear locations. At the foundation level, checks are run for punching shear from piers and piles. Nonlinear uplift can be implemented through soil-spring modeling. Manual and automatic point, line, and uniform loads, enveloped and applied per user-defined or building-code specification, are presented in clear and detailed 3D views. 
Analysis : The SAPFire ® Analysis Engine translates the object-based model into an optimal finite-element model by coordinating the tessellation process with object orientation, observing bounds to establish effective aspect ratios, and connecting mismatched mesh seams where area objects connect. A sophisticated slab analysis can then proceed with realistic contribution from adjoining systems. SAFE enables the following analyses: nonlinear, cracked-section, long-term cracked-section (capturing creep and shrinkage behavior), dynamic, Ritz or Eigen modal-frequency, floor-vibration, and foundation-level nonlinear-cracked-slab, among others.
SAFE automatically generates drawing sheets for plan, elevation, and section views that detail and dimension framing, reinforcement, and tendon layout. CSiCol is used to model, analyze, and design traditional and composite reinforced-concrete column systems of customized geometry and constitutive behavior. Column attributes, inelastic response, optimized design, and a range of individual and combined performance measures may all be characterized using CSiCol.

The Quick Design Wizard features a series of tools, templates, and code-based options to guide users through the modeling process. Reinforced-concrete columns of any geometric complexity may be easily created. Solid, hollow, and flanged shapes may be drawn, edited, and merged from over 50 parametric shapes, 3000 standard steel shapes, and practical resize, stack, and align controls. Holes and cutouts are easily rendered for hollow- and voided-section design. Rebar-distribution tools arrange reinforcement in various patterns and standardized sets. Manual placement features are also available.

A series of constitutive-modeling capabilities characterize the material behavior of concrete and steel. Concrete stress-strain relations may follow Whitney Rectangle, PCA Parabola, Mander, and various code-based models. Steel models may be linear or nonlinear.

Load conditions and design action are input directly. An unlimited number of combinations are available to the user. Effective length factors and slenderness effects are computed from optional framing- and end-condition specification, providing for sway and non-sway response. Magnified-moment calculations are based on ACI-318 and BS-8110.

Analysis calculates geometric properties, considers true bi-axial behavior through generation of full-capacity interaction surfaces, and characterizes strength and ductile performance through moment-curvature response. P-M, M-M, and stress-strain relations may all be developed for any neutral-axis depth and orientation, and for any bending direction, load level, and combination. Elastic and cracked-section stresses are calculated and displayed per bi-axial bending, shear, axial, torsional, and combined conditions. Additional analysis features include rebar-stress calculation, load-point location, and limit-state assessment. Performance measures may be user-specified or computed through calculation.

The Automatic Design feature follows user-specified minimum and maximum parameters, along with criteria for design-process hierarchy, to optimize column design and reinforcement layout. Images and data may then be summarized in customized reports.

Geotechnical applications often require advanced constitutive models for the simulation of the non linear, time dependent and anisotropic behaviour of soils and rock.
